Impacting The Lives of Needy, Afflicted, and Marginalized Populations.

We are called to empower and uplift

A Lamb in the Bush helps individuals struggling with homelessness and substance abuse, providing needed assistance to help get our unhoused neighbors back on their feet.

“God called and touched my heart to serve those in need and I have answered His calling! There are many people who have touched and impacted my life.

I want to say thank you!”

John Mbugua, Founder

TRANSITIONAL HOUSING:

A Lamb in the Bush aims to create transitional sober living housing to aid in the maintenance of a person’s recovery by establishing a sober recovery living environment in which a person can acquire employment and a source of income to increase their ability to afford stable housing.

EDUCATION:

Care Coordinators assist recovering individuals with referrals to education and vocational opportunities through local organizations and agencies. A Lamb in the Bush also bridges participants to recovery resources to help them abstain from drug addiction through AA, CA, NA, and other faith-based curriculum teachings assisting with the development of a firm foundation to form healthy relationships, and the ability to build meaningful and fulfilling lives.

REFERRALS:

Participant needs are assessed by Care Coordinators and care plans are created to ensure individuals are bridged to appropriate services.

It takes a village to help an individual recover and you are that village!
